The UP College of Nursing completed the Simulation-Based Education (SBE) Faculty Development activity led by the University of Adelaide – Adelaide Health Simulation last July 12-13.
The small yet engaged group of participants practiced the basics and processes of implementing simulation-based activities in Nursing. Experiential activities maximized the different technologies available for SBE and strategies to be implemented in the next semesters. Participants were composed of UPCN faculty, new simulation technologists, staff, and delegates from Bohol Island State University, Cavite State University, and Bataan Peninsula State University.
This event was followed by a session with the UP College of Medicine (July 14) and other SUCs in the West Visayas (July 17).
This activity is supported by the CHED-LAKAS program led by UP Manila with the Mindanao State University – GenSan and the West Visayas University.
