Asst. Prof. Aprille C. Banayat of the UP College of Nursing has been recognized as an APJON Excellent Reviewer for 2023. This is an annual award given to the best reviewers of the year by the editorial team of the Asia-Pacific Journal of Oncology Nursing (APJON). Recipients must have demonstrated excellence in their work, including the quality, quantity, and timeliness of their reviews. The award is part of APJON’s commitment to recognizing and rewarding peer reviewers for their contributions to the journal.
Asst. Prof. Banayat, who specializes in Pediatric Oncology and Pediatric Intensive Care, has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Arts in Nursing, both from the University of the Philippines Manila. Her research focus is on Pediatric Nursing and Childhood Cancer. She also participated in various programs focused on Pediatric Oncology-Hematology, Nursing Education, SOP Writing, and Quality Improvement.
