The National Institutes of Health Nursing Development Study Group is currently convened by Erwin William A. Leyva, PhD, RN. The study group was created with the aim to: (1) undertake researches addressing issues in nursing practice, education and leadership, (2) create opportunities for utilization of research findings, (3) develop capacities of nurses in conducting research, and (4) foster interprofessional collaboration in conducting research in nursing and related issues.
