The UPCN faculty and SBE staff completed the In-House Simulation-Based Education Faculty Development Workshop (Part 1) last July 31-August 2.
The 2.5-day event covered the integration of SBE activities in the BSN curriculum, the basics of SBE design and implementation, a demonstration of different fidelities and modalities, and a moulage session. The training aims to fully integrate and practice simulation-based activities across BSN courses and test a training design for equipping BSN faculty in the future.
This event is supported by the CHED-LAKAS Program through the UP Manila Simulation Laboratory for Health Science Education (SIMULA) Project. Part 2 will focus on testing the designed simulation plans scheduled throughout the semester.
