UP Nursing Alumni Association International

The University of the Philippines Nursing Alumni Association International (UPNAAI) started as the UP-PGH Alumni Association of California, which was founded on July 15, 1979. This organization had its humble beginnings through reunions of College of Nursing graduates, and eventually bonding with graduates of the PGH School of Nursing that led to a development of a strong structure to expand the association’s objectives towards the pursuit of excellence and professionalism in nursing. The University of the Philippines Nursing Alumni Association of California, Inc. (UPNAAC) was then founded on October 19, 1988 as the result of this merging. On August 7, 1993, the name UPNAAC was changed to what the association is currently known as: University of the Philippines Nursing Alumni Association International, as a result of tremendous growth of regional and international membership. The sustained effort and dedication of membership empowered the leadership to continue the UP tradition of excellence.
