Bachelor of Science in Nursing
UPCN’s BSN program is geared towards equipping student nurses with the skills and knowledge necessary to render effective and holistic nursing care. Furthermore, the program reflects growing needs in the healthcare industry by providing students with the skills for nursing research, leadership, and civic involvement.
MA Nursing – Adult Health Nursing Track
The MA Nursing Adult Health Nursing track is designed to prepare advanced practitioners with clinical expertise in providing primary, acute, and specialized adult care. Students will also acquire skills in applying evidence-based practice to address gaps in the profession and to facilitate effective clinical decision-making.
MA Nursing – Maternal and Child Nursing Track
The MA Nursing Maternal and Child Nursing track aims to prepare graduates who have advanced expertise in the delivery of nursing care to women across stages of pregnancy and to children with acute, chronic, and critical conditions. Graduates of the program also contribute to the advancement of Maternal and Child Nursing through relevant research and application of evidence-based practice.
MA Nursing – Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing Track
The MA Nursing Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing track aims to prepare students who have clinical expertise in the practice of mental health and psychiatric nursing for varied clienteles in specialized settings. Graduates also perform research skills to address gaps in mental health and psychiatric nursing practice. Adequate instruction and clinical placement is also ensured so that graduates are able to lead in the promotion of a safe, ethical, and collaborative mental health care system.
MA Nursing – Public Health Nursing Track

MA Nursing – Nursing Administration Track
The MA Nursing Nursing Administration track aims to prepare students who have leadership and management expertise in directing and overseeing health-care organization, health-related systems, nursing or health services, and nursing or health programs. They also conduct research to address gaps in nursing leadership and management. Graduates are also prepared to translate evidence-based management approaches to support decision-making in improving management processes and outcomes.
Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing
The college also offers a degree in Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing, which aims to further improve on and strengthen the holistic capabilities of its students, in order to contribute to the betterment of the theory and science behind the nursing profession.
