Nursing Administration Track
MA Nursing Program
The MA Nursing Nursing Administration track aims to prepare students who have leadership and management expertise in directing and overseeing health-care organization, health-related systems, nursing or health services, and nursing or health programs. They also conduct research to address gaps in nursing leadership and management. Graduates are also prepared to translate evidence-based management approaches to support decision-making in improving management processes and outcomes.

Concepts, methods, processes and applications of descriptive and inferential statistical methods and analysis.
N 299 Research Methods in Nursing
The Research process as applied to Nursing with emphasis on the qualitative and quantitative methodologies.

N 219.4 Intensive Experience in Nursing Administration
Intensive experience in administration of a nursing school or nursing service in any health care setting.

Nursing 221 Nursing in Chronic Diseases and Conditions
Nursing in chronic diseases and illnesses, with emphasis on geriatrics and the rehabilitative aspects of nursing.
Nursing 222 Social Patterns of Illness and Medical Care
Medical orientation and response to health and illness and their relation to society and culture.
Nursing 223 Ecology, Health and Illness
Health and illness in relation to geographical environment.
Nursing 224 Change Determinants in Health-Related Behavior
Health-seeking behavior and innovative processes.
Nursing 225 Comparative Health Care Systems
Readings and discussions of different systems of health care in developing and developed countries in the appraisal or evaluation of the Philippine health care system.
Nursing 226 Curriculum Planning in Nursing
Concepts, principles and strategies of curriculum planning, development and change.
Nursing 227 Teaching Nursing
Principles of teaching and learning, formulation of objectives, selection, organization and evaluation of learning experiences in a clinical subject/course.
Nursing 228 Practicum in Clinical Teaching
Intensive hands-on experience in clinical teaching.
