MA Nursing Program
Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing Track
The MA Nursing Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing track aims to prepare students who have clinical expertise in the practice of mental health and psychiatric nursing for varied clienteles in specialized settings. Graduates also perform research skills to address gaps in mental health and psychiatric nursing practice. Adequate instruction and clinical placement is also ensured so that graduates are able to lead in the promotion of safe, ethical, and collaborative mental health care system.

An in-depth analysis and application of nursing theories, concepts, bioethical principles and theories in related disciplines such as the social sciences.
N 298 Statistical Methods Applied to Nursing
Concepts, methods, processes and applications of descriptive and inferential statistical methods and analysis.
N 299 Research Methods in Nursing
The Research process as applied to Nursing with emphasis on the qualitative and quantitative methodologies.

Issues and trends in the care of emotionally-disturbed children.
N 219.7 Intensive Experience in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing
Intensive experience in teaching, research and advanced clinical practice in mental health and psychiatric nursing.
