Commission on Higher Education (CHED)
In 1996, the College was designated as a Center of Excellence in Nursing Education by the Commission on Higher Education. A Center of Excellence is a “department within a higher education institution, which continuously demonstrates excellent performance in the areas of instruction, research and publication, extension and linkages and institutional qualifications”. The College has been a Center of Excellence since then.
World Health Organization
In 1989, the College was designated by the World Health Organization as a Collaborating Center for Nursing Development in Primary Health Care. And ever since, we have been working with the World Health Organization in matters related to nursing and health.
